Wassup Denver party peeps? I hope you are all well and getting through this exceptionally rough holiday season with the least amount of stress in your lives. It has been quite a long time since I have had the pleasure of DJing in Denver let alone with the entire Casa Crew for a night of beats and debauchery.

Commit Clothing headed up by Sweat Records' Zack Larsen and Denver's DHA crew have rolled up their sleeves and put together an event that even I would have thought to be impossible. They have put all the pieces into place for the holiday break to bring the Casa Del Soul Crew together for a long awaited Casa Reunion Party with all six DJs from the crew stepping up on deck duty for the entire evening. It has been a long time since we all played together as all of our lives and music careers have taken many different paths over the years. Even with all the years and the distances apart (Berlin, Las Vegas, NY/NJ, Miami, SF), our love and passion for dance music is still the line that will connect us all regardless of time or place.

I am really looking forward to getting the chance to throw down with the crew for an evening as well as reconnecting with the many faces and names that used to shop for beats at the store for it's 5 year run at good old 11th & Broadway. I feel like a proud poppa to see so many of you taking the next step in your music lives with production, events and making your own names as DJs, carving out your own mark in Denver's rich dance music history.

Without further ado, join us all as we come full circle for this very special (and rare!) occasion as the Casa Del Soul Crew comes together in the 303 to celebrate as a truly special music community.

Life is music is life...as always, I will not only see you behind the decks but on the dancefloor as well. After all, that's what it has always been about in the first place.

This time around, join your friends downtown as resident DJ Carlos Sanchez plus special guest DJ Sensé throw down for Downtown Cocktail Room's official holiday party. With nothing but cozy house tunes all night, this holiday party will keep you warm and fuzzy like a hot toddy and a crackling yuletide log...especially given Las Vegas has just had it's largest dump of snow in years!

Yes, I know it is a time for giving...but it's about time to give unto yourself as well...you need a break from all the madness, the shopping, the handshaking, the client maintenance and the holiday stress so pull up to a stiff drink and let yourself go on the dancefloor to some sexy house beats all night long...you know you deserve it ;-)

Over the past couple years he has become one of Denver's hottest house event promoters with his DHA (Denver Housing Authority) parties as well as being one of the "go to guys" for house DJ's in Denver. He will be joining weekly resident DJ Carlos Sanchez for this special edition of Friday Night Social.

This year Halloween lands on a Friday which is stellar news for all of us weekday warriors. Since Vegoose has officially kicked the can we have decided to do a very special installment of Kilowatt at Downtown Cocktail Room. You won't want to miss the 20 deep Kilowatt Electric Company group costume out in full force causing mad electrical shortages on the downtown grid. Be sure to grace us with a crazy "Electricity" themed costume. On deck duty will be yours truly, Downtown Resident Carlos Sanchez, Los Martinez Broz. and Soul Kitchen's Edgar Reyes. Quality music, great intimate crowd, no silly costume contests to break up the party spirit. Real nice.

Saturday /// Fabulous /// Orlean's Arena
Many parts of the country is seeing a solid resurgence in the rave scene as we are seeing a lot of "massive's" popping up again. Massive's can only be described as a giant festival style rave with tons of DJs and more. We welcome "Fabulous" to the Orleans with open arms as they bring the massive back to Vegas...some of you may remember when Camel brought Camel Move to the desert, that was a long time ago to say the least. "Fabulous" will be the biggest and best dance event in Las Vegas Halloween weekend hands down. The lineup is looking insane, the rest is in the hands of the event production so break out your glowsticks and Mickey Mouse gloves because it's time to rave out with your...whatever out!

THE RETURN OF SOUNDBAR
This Thursday Soundbar returns to a spankin' new venue outside on the patio of Ghostbar. Talk about dancing with the stars, you can almost touch them from that vantage point.

Dance music veteran, Charles Webster (Furry Phreaks, Love From San Francisco, Prescence and more!) joins the Soundbar crew as the special guest for the relaunch. Charles has a very special place in the world of dance music as he is known to stick to his guns and has been responsible for a wide array of music that has been timeless, collectable and most importantly playable by DJs from many genres all over the globe. From house music to downtempo grooves, Charles has a knack for making music that captures an emotional "feeling" so to speak. In today's "track factory" of producers that run rampant throughout dance music cranking out flavors of the month, it is refreshing to see someone that still strives to make every production "special".

Be sure and get a taste of that little something special as Soundbar makes it's return to bringing quality house music to Las Vegas' ultra commercial musical landscape.
