East Coast hipster party Down & Derby www.downandderby.org is a roller skating party designed to take people back to a time when parties were all about having carefree fun without the worries of high-fashion or heavy expense. Guests are treated to a custom-built roller skating rink, cocktails and only the best party music by resident skate guard DJs Nugget and $HR3D (SHRED).
Beginning Saturday, February 14th with the ‘Couple Skate Kick-off’ and continuing each second Saturday monthly, Down & Derby will produce a monthly roller disco at Las Vegas’ downtown hangout, Beauty Bar. Each month will be themed differently, but all with the same premise - skating, dancing, drinking and falling on your ass!
Don’t have skates? No problem, D&D has more than 200 pairs of roller skates available to rent for only $5! Come get your roll on!

RED ROOM SALOON | LAS VEGASLars Behrenroth (Deeper Shades of House) joins Edgar Reyes and the Soul Kitchen crew for a very special night of deep house beats and a birthday celebration for Edgar. If you are not familiar with Lars he is responsible for what is probably THE hottest deep house show on the internet at the moment. Wassup Denver party peeps? I hope you are all well and getting through this exceptionally rough holiday season with the least amount of stress in your lives. It has been quite a long time since I have had the pleasure of DJing in Denver let alone with the entire Casa Crew for a night of beats and debauchery.Commit Clothing headed up by Sweat Records' Zack Larsen and Denver's DHA crew have rolled up their sleeves and put together an event that even I would have thought to be impossible. They have put all the pieces into place for the holiday break to bring the Casa Del Soul Crew together for a long awaited Casa Reunion Party with all six DJs from the crew stepping up on deck duty for the entire evening. It has been a long time since we all played together as all of our lives and music careers have taken many different paths over the years. Even with all the years and the distances apart (Berlin, Las Vegas, NY/NJ, Miami, SF), our love and passion for dance music is still the line that will connect us all regardless of time or place. I am really looking forward to getting the chance to throw down with the crew for an evening as well as reconnecting with the many faces and names that used to shop for beats at the store for it's 5 year run at good old 11th & Broadway. I feel like a proud poppa to see so many of you taking the next step in your music lives with production, events and making your own names as DJs, carving out your own mark in Denver's rich dance music history.
