First off, I would like to give a huge thank you to all of you that came out for last Saturday's Patio Sessions at SATAY. Carlos and I had an amazing time over there last weekend and it actually reminded me a little bit of some of those crazy mornings on the patio of Empire Ballroom...of course, without having to have sunglasses on when I left! Hands down one of the best gigs I have had the pleasure of playing here in Las Vegas.
This week I will be joining partner in crime Carlos Sanchez at our favorite downtown haunt, Downtown Cocktail Room. Come beat the heat in one of the coolest spots in Vegas along with some cool cocktails and of course...cool house music!

Once again this funktastic roller disco party will be skating its way back through Downtown Las Vegas on the back terrace of Beauty Bar.
This month we have DJs Danny Boy (The Get Back) and DJ $HR3D who will be spinning everything from Earth, Wind & Fire to Daft Punk, providing the perfect soundtrack to get your 8 wheel roll on. So here's the down & dirty...

Fashion attire reminiscent of a 70s roller disco is strongly suggested.

Also, be on the lookout for the next date as this trendsetting roller disco party will be bringing you this retro-inspired event once a month. As always, keep your ass off the concrete and the wheels 'a' turnin' for another great night of music, skating and of course...the PBR!

East Coast hipster party Down & Derby www.downandderby.org is a roller skating party designed to take people back to a time when parties were all about having carefree fun without the worries of high-fashion or heavy expense. Guests are treated to a custom-built roller skating rink, cocktails and only the best party music by resident skate guard DJs Nugget and $HR3D (SHRED).
Beginning Saturday, February 14th with the ‘Couple Skate Kick-off’ and continuing each second Saturday monthly, Down & Derby will produce a monthly roller disco at Las Vegas’ downtown hangout, Beauty Bar. Each month will be themed differently, but all with the same premise - skating, dancing, drinking and falling on your ass!
